Vincent Micale, WEDC President

Vincent is the founder and president of SystemArchitecture.NET, a Maine-based consulting company which provides database development, network engineering and website design headquartered in Windham, Maine. He is also very involved in the community and serves as President of the Windham Economic Development Corporation, as well as the Treasurer for Fiddlehead Center for the Arts.

Larry Eliason, WEDC Vice President

Larry is a Commercial Broker with Butts Commercial Brokers specializing in Commercial Real Estate Sales and Leasing.  Larry is a graduate of Husson College where he received a B. S. in Accounting Management.  Larry has a diverse background including Senior Commercial Credit Analyst at a Commercial Bank and Mortgage Banker at a Savings Bank, Regional President for a Land Development Company, Project Manager for a local Private Investor/Developer and Residential Real Estate Sales.  Larry is a member of the Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA), as well as a member of the Sebago Lake Region Chamber of Commerce. Larry resides in Windham with his wife and two sons.

Chris has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 20 years in investment management and securities processing operations, technology and product management (Portfolio Management, Trading, Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting and Custody). His experience has focused on building and fixing investment operations for high growth businesses for the following companies: Citigroup Asia, AGF Funds Canada, Price Waterhouse Consulting NYC, Charles Schwab Investment Management, and Mitsubishi Bank of California.  In addition to his U.S. experience Chris also has on the ground experience having lived in Canada, Europe and Asia. Chris currently is the head of Foreside's ExchangeTraded Fund business which services $7 billion in assets in for institutional clients.  Chris is a 1984 graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Barbara is the Executive Director for the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, representing 10 communities in the Sebago Lakes Region.  Barbara is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston where she majored in Business and Marketing Management. Barbara’s many years of business experience throughout the country include her involvement as the New England President of the Telecommunication’s Community Service Program with AT&T; Director of the New England Women’s Association of Telecommunication Managers; President of Naples Main Street; Board Director for the Lakes Region Development Corporation; President of the Western Maine Lakes and Mountains Tourism Council, Vice President of the Maine Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives; regional member of the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. In 2008 Barbara graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute of Organizational Management Program and received her IOM national certification credit.  Barbara resides in Naples with her husband Brian

Dan Hancock, WEDC Board of Directors

Dan has eleven years of experience in the banking industry, including six at Gorham Savings Bank where he is currently the Senior Business Officer/AVP in the Windham office.  Dan’s primary responsibility in this role is assisting business clients with commercial financing and deposit needs.  Dan also has a strong background in residential and consumer lending and has been an instructor for the Northern New England Center of Financial Training since 2000.

Dan has a B.S. from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH and recently graduated from the New England School of Financial Services at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. 

In addition to serving on the board of the Windham Economic Development Corporation, Dan is actively involved with the United Way, and a member of the Sebago Lakes Rotary Club.

Peter Anania, WEDC Board of Directors

Peter is President of ANANIA & Associates, established in 1987, which manages an investment fund, ANANIA & Associates Investment Company LLC, with investments in several Maine companies and three Maine business parks in Windham, Gorham and Bingham:

MEGA Industries LLC of Gorham, a $4,000,000 microwave component parts manufacturer with its own brand name product line.  MWAVE LLC of Windham, a start up in July of 2004, is a $5,000,000 manufacturer of high frequency microwave antennas and other products. Maine Cedar Log Homes LLC of Windham, the oldest company in the United States producing log homes.  White Cedar Gazebos of Windham a panelized gazebo product line, including a new product called Lightning Guardian®, a lightning protected shelter for golf courses and other open venues.  Minority interests in Rynel of Wiscasset, Biovation of Boothbay and Grow Tech of Lisbon Falls.  Leaders LLC a mergers and acquisitions firm with offices in Portland and Boston, specializing in the petroleum marketing, industrial gas and cryogenic equipment manufacturing industries with clients worldwide. 

Mr. Anania is currently serves on the board of the Maine Heritage Policy Center, Windham Economic Development Corporation and as a Corporator for Bangor Savings Bank, an Emeritus Board member of the Maine International Trade Center and a charter member of Maine's District Export Council helping small businesses expand their export sales.  He was President of the Portland Fish Exchange for eight years, President of the Portland Fish Pier Authority, Treasurer of the Maine Metal Products Association and Treasurer of Portland’s Italian Heritage Center, previously served on the board of the USM Alumni Association, the Family Crisis Center, the United Way Allocation Committee and Raye’s Mustard Mill in Eastport.
